Get manually installed packages on any Ubuntu-based distro

This tip will teach you how to list all packages you installed manually.

Just run the following command in the terminal

(comm -23 <(apt-mark showmanual | sort -u) <(gzip -dc /var/log/installer/initial-status.gz | sed -n 's/^Package: //p' | sort -u) )
